Some of the replies in here surprise me. I mean this is the guy who was lineal champion; the guy Crawford got lineal from...right? According to some on NSB.

So you should be cheering him - because every LOSS he takes simply diminishes the quality of that win. Think about it - Crawford was taken 9 damn near full rounds by a guy Murata - a SIGNIFICANT underdog - dispatched with ease TWICE. And not off a trigger ref like Crawford did.

Seriously...some of you need to think about cheering for Horn. It's the only way Crawford's signature win maintains the same level of credibility.

      Talk about a bizarre argument.

There are approx. zero people on this planet who think Horn is Crawford's best win. Horn got the title via a robbery, and Terence picking it up was a formality due to Pacquiao not being interested in fighting Crawford or rematching Horn. Horn loses to everyone in the top 15 at welterweight.... the guy Crawford fought Saturday would crush him.

Not only that, but Horn moved up to middleweight; how he does two weight classes higher has no bearing on his accomplishments back at 147. Really good fighters move up too high and get embarrassed all the time. Rios was a monster at 135 and a flabby pillow-fisted punching bag at 147, for example.

To be fair though Jeff Horn really has no business at middleweight. Nice sig btw.

Bro...Crawford HIMSELF hangs on that win. Or did you not read the article??

He didn’t even fight in the division right now, why is everybody rating him so high in a division he never fought in before? So when I had my first fight in the division, I stopped Jeff Horn.

And let's not forget your boy over in the other thread:

But according to Tyson Fury lineal championship rules, you don’t lose the title if you retire. Therefore Pacquiao would have retained his lineal championship until he lost to Jeff Horn.

Crawford then beat Horn, making Crawford lineal champion through Tyson Fury rules.
So it sounds like you two need to be cheering the Hornet so that Crawford's signature win isn't tainted.

Should Horn lose, he needs to go back to 147 and fight GrandPac...

I don't care what Crawford or some random poster in NSB says, dude. Horn is shit and has been living off a robbery W.

I mean that's fine, I'm just saying, Crawford is the one hanging on that win and causing his fans to rate the win because he doesn't want to admit how terrible his resume is at 147.

Crawford is sitting at like #2 pound for pound. Horn getting KOd by a stripper is irrelevant.

                    Just 147?
                    I don't know about that...

But you have to ask yourself WHY people have Crawford at #2, as a welterweight? And the only win you can point at is Jeff Horn. So what's that tell you?

                      Either

                      (A) Horn is legit, was lineal champion after clearly beating Manny Pacquiao, in which case Crawford has a legitimate case for #3 or #2 due to beating a guy who beat an ATG and was lineal champion.

                      OR

                      (B) Crawford is being overrated because of the Jeff Horn win, which wasn't legit in the first place. Meaning he doesn't deserve #2, much less Top 5. I'm willing to give him #6 because he's undefeated.

I mean which is it? It can't be both.
