If he fights Jessie vargas like I'm hearing he will then I'll watch. That's a 55\45 fight that he could lose if all is fair.
Anything less than a fighter of that level and I won't watch. I came away very disappointed in Mikey after the Errol fight.

Golden Boy promotions really got the short end of the stick on their DAZN deal. It appears they don't have access to the large budget that Matchroom does, they are seen as a secondary promotional company on their platform, oddly enough you can argue that GBP has been responsible for 90% of their subscriptions.
Oscar needs to sort his personal life and pull himself and his company together, the future of Golden Boy promotions is resting on the shoulders of a few young fighters. Munguia, Ryan, and Vergil. You need to be able to poach and recruit fighters in this game to stay relevant in the long term, they seem to be content building the stars of tomorrow instead.

Finally we get some news from Team Garcia. I've been waiting for this. I've been less excited about his career since his loss to Spence. Hopefully we get some more activity and bigger fights from him in 2020.

He completely dropped the ball on that one and whatever fanbase and attention he got from that event, he lost all of it again and now he has to start from scratch basically.
It's a sad thing and it's a common pattern with all the PBC fighters, it's like they're specialized in NOT riding the popularity wave to build superstars. It's really terrible to watch.
I think most PBC guys stay just as active as everyone else, fighting 2 times per year. When Thurman is constantly having surgeries, Spence is flipping cars, and Mikey is shopping for promotional deals that’s not on PBC.
Guys who stay healthy and want to fight, fight. Ask Charlo’s and Hurd and Williams and Porter.
Admittedly they don’t keep them as active as maybe Andrade or Farmer has been this last year or so, but then again they have fought absolute nobodies since signing w DAZN. Absolute... nobodies.
I think it’s strange that the thinking is Charlo should jump ship to DAZN to fight a guy with such shallow wins on his resume in Andrade. Especially seeing as how the IBF and WBA titles are already over there with him in DAZN. He can’t even get fights with the guys already under the same network, and Charlo is supposed to believe that if he crosses over HES going to get the top fights at 160???
Charlo does better staying w PBC, waiting to see if DAZN can make a deal for Andrade, and in the mean time wait for all the killers at 154 to come up to 160 the same way he and Andrade did and make all the good fights w his Current promoter. Just my 2 cents.
