No he is not supposed to play for Italy because he is born and raised in Argentina. Camoranesi is absolutely DESPISED in Argentina for the way he has turned his back on his own nation. He had to move his family due to death threats. Even the Italian players clearly don't like him. When he accepted Trappatoni's offer to play for Italy instead of waiting to be called to play for Argentina he said: "I'm not a traitor, I still feel one hundred per cent Argentine and have done nothing to find myself in this situation. It's only a football matter, nothing else." Shameful. Let's hope the barrio boys catch up with his family sooner rather than later. He is well known as one of the most disagreeable characters in European football.
Maskaev is as American as Arnold Schwarzenegger. A desperate ploy to win over fans.
Ok.. I hate argentineans with a passion, however, that's a bit too much.
What did his family do to deserve such a beating or death?
I would play for another team too if I had to choose between argentina or some place else.
You're not expressing your opinion, you're talking **** about Americans as a whole which is just wrong. We do things we do because we can. If you lived here it would change your whole opinion of us. I go out of town to go fishing almost every weekend and I love it. I have the freedom to go and do whatever I want. Just cause our president is ****ing things up you blame all Americans for that. I know this will sound weird but there is really nothing we can do about it till the elections.
You can go fishing? Yeah i've heard you're the only country in the world who can do that.
You had your chance last election but unfortunately there is far, far too many obese, uneducated, warmongering, blindly patriotic Americans happy to stick a flag in their garden and spit "U.S.A..U.S.A" (ZZZZZZZZZZZZ) at anyone who will listen.

Interesting moral stance. Happy to be openly racist about Argentina, but let's not hurt Camoranesi's family?! They probably don't deserve it as people, but if it's the best way to avenge Camoranesi's shameful behaviour then so be it. And honestly, I really, really mean it.

I was talking on a human level.
His family to the best of my knowledge haven't done anything wrong (other than being argentinean ) so why do they deserve a bunch of idiots rushing to their house to kill them over soccer politics?
Why not just do it to the guy instead of his family?
Hurting his family will affect him, but not as much as hurting him and/or his balls (if he has any), especially if he's the kind of guy you're labeling him as.
