He had to move his family due to death threats. Even the Italian players clearly don't like him. When he accepted Trappatoni's offer to play for Italy instead of waiting to be called to play for Argentina he said: "I'm not a traitor, I still feel one hundred per cent Argentine and have done nothing to find myself in this situation. You're not expressing your opinion, you're talking **** about Americans as a whole which is just wrong. We do things we do because we can. If you lived here it would change your whole opinion of us. I go out of town to go fishing almost every weekend and I love it. I have the freedom to go and do whatever I want. Just cause our president is ****ing things up you blame all Americans for that.
