PPVs lose money all the time. You think Pac vs Broner or Wilder vs Ortiz didnt lose money with the high guarantees they demanded.

as someone else pointed out to you (motor city)...ppvs arent the only stream of revenue on a fight...and they arent the only source of revenue when figured into pbcs guarantees.....the top PBC guys are in on the floyd model of course to a much lesser degree...but they are controlling the event...ticket sales, merch, even bottles of water......haymon is a concert promoter and they are treating them like mini concerts....

crawford gets a good payday....but what percentage is bob taking? and is crawford getting in on any of the other streams of revenue? after bob takes his reported 30 percent....bud pays taxes and pays for camp/trainer etc...then what?

i dont think any pbc guy is losing 30 percent of their income to any promoter or manager..

this is partly why arum hates haymon...hes shown these fighters another way that doesnt rely solely on some heeb taking his cut simply for existing....

When Crawford's PPV lost money they said no more PPV's unless it's Spence. Fox is full speed ahead on PPV's because they're making money. I posted the article where it showed they only need PPV'S in the 250+ range to make money. There are other ways to generate revenue than strictly PPV sales.
