Purses from Crawford vs Mean Machine.

Don't know why they're being so tight lipped about this. I'll update it when the commission reports it

Crawford really has nothing to complain about when he makes such large purses for fighting such average opponents.

This is why I don't know why some believe he's in such a bad situation. Crawford CHOSE to re-sign and is having very good purses by fighting inferior competition. Life is good that man!

Yes but he should always demand more from the people whose job is to further his career. Large minimum guarantees and quality wins. If Top Rank can secure Porter next they will have done a good job. If Crawford can stop Porter a fighter universally recognized for his grit and toughness he will be the consensus P4P #1. After that whether Danny or Thurman are willing to fight is moot.

That’s commission reported though, remember, Crawford is actually making $10M for the fight.

Damn that's a lot of money Crawford is making for this fight, Bob pays his fighters very well.. But we need some good fights for Crawford now.. Yes bob we know he can beat these guys, but let's see some good fights now. Put him in there with Porter or someone good next.

The bad thing is that ESPN and Bob have lost money on Bud. He isn't bringing money and his ppv fights have flopped. ESPN wasn't even willing to release the numbers. Both Fury and Bud are costing Arum n ESPN money for what they're paying him

PPVs lose money all the time. You think Pac vs Broner or Wilder vs Ortiz didnt lose money with the high guarantees they demanded.

Nobody wants to admit this, but boxing as a whole is in bad shape. Too many belts, too many "premium networks", and too much biased reporting. Its impossible for casual fans to understand what's really going on. And it's hilarious that EACH network expects fans to PAY for programming in a sport so convoluted and unnecessarily complex

That's why Bob and now Tim Bradley are going crazy. Remember after the Khan fight Bob got up there and said boycott PBC. Now Bradley is yelling and screaming.

When Crawford's PPV lost money they said no more PPV's unless it's Spence. Fox is full speed ahead on PPV's because they're making money. I posted the article where it showed they only need PPV'S in the 250+ range to make money. There are other ways to generate revenue than strictly PPV sales.

No it's not. Fox & PBC are happy and pushing forward investing more and more into boxing.
