Comments Thread For: Bob Arum: I Really Believe Pulev Can Beat Anthony Joshua

Bob Arum wasn't the least bit surprised Andy Ruiz Jr. was overweight for his rematch against Anthony Joshua. Ruiz's weight woes and his overall lack of discipline often frustrated Arum when his company, Top Rank Inc., promoted the former heavyweight champion. Now that those troubles have helped thrust another heavyweight he promotes into a title fight with Joshua, Arum also won't be surprised if Kubrat Pulev upsets Joshua.

Pulev is not fast enough for the new "jumping" version of aj. Another annoying and boring fight on the horizon.

Joshua is overrated but no way Pulev is going to win. Pulev shouldn't be in the top 10, first of all.

Of course, especially in HW where one punch can win the battle but in this case I wouldn't count on it. Even fat version of Joshua (who was mauled by Ruiz) would win easily IMO.

And I thought the old man had no sense of humor....nice one Bob. Maybe in a kiss-the-reporter contest but certainly not boxing.
