How's the drink, David?
PRICE
It's great, mate. I always love to come out to 'Spoons for a couple of Stella's when I can. But I'm still living the life, don't worry about that.
MARTIN
How are you feeling? What does 2020 bring for the Big Truck?
PRICE
I'm feeling great. Better than ever really. I had a great 2019. It might sound daft to some people me saying that, but, look, I took the Chisora fight On late notice. I wasn't really fiT for the fight, and look at the one time I rocked him. He was dancing. If the bell hadn't just rang the referee would have stopped it. Same as with Povetkin. Story of my life. I'm the most unlucky man in boxing.
MARTIN
How tough was the Chisora fight?
PRICE
It was fine to be honest with you. It was just a stamina issue. It was nothing to do with chin, I assure you. I have a granite chin, trust me. I always dominate Dereck in sparring, but, as I say, circumstances dictated what happened that night. I needed the pay cheque. One more loss is nothing to me at this stage. It's all about peaking now.
MARTIN
Let's talk about your wins last year.
PRICE
Three fantastic wins at top domestic level. Kash Ali soon realised that he bit off more than he could chew against me. I did a number on Tom Little and my masterclass against Dave Allen was better than Joshua's over Ruiz Jr.
MARTIN
Would you fancy you're chances against Ruiz JR?
PRICE
Definitely. That's the fight I want next. I've already got Eddie Hearn working out a deal for it to be on Joshua's next undercard. I'll do what Joshua did, but also score the knockout. Once I get that win then Wilder, Fury, Joshua, let's do this. All the belts. I might have been on the deck many times in my career, but trust me, when it's all said and done, I'll be the last man standing.
