So, Joshua was #1 before his June loss then because Ruiz beat Joshua, he became #1, so Joshua beat Ruiz again, he goes back to #1. That's using your own definition.

You can't even answer when in the last 4 years Joshua and Fury could have scheduled a bout. Look it up, when could they have fought!? You don't know. That's why you didn't 'get started'.

Nah Ruiz doesn't become #1 by fluking it out while Fury is around. He was never expected to win the first fight, and was expected to lose the rematch despite winning the first fight. Beating a guy you're supposed to beat after Fury gets a much more impressive win doesn't move you back into first. Sorry that needs to be explained.

If Joshua and Fury can't meet up, then Joshua can't be #1. If he can't fight him, that doesn't mean he gets to shoot to first place. Nothing works that way. Should have taken the $50M and then this wouldn't even be an issue lol

I had no problem with Joshua fighting the way he did.He wanted a safe fight and did what was necessary to win. I was upset when I saw the weigh in and changed my prediction of the fight, knowing Ruiz was going to get outworked.

That one fight of Joshua was still more exciting than 99% of Fury’s performances. I think he’s fine.

Neither was Wilder, and then he got beat up worse than what was already happening. You might not be worried, but Joshua should be, if that opportunity presents itself one day. Like I said, one moment Ruiz was down, and then the next he's walking Joshua down dropping him over and over. It only takes one shot, and Fury is very good at throwing off-balance, sneaky shots. Plus he got up from 2 Wilder knockdowns. IMO that's worth noting when talking about him being in trouble.

At no point in the Wilder fight did Fury give up defensive posture. I don't think you really understand what I'm saying. Landing a punch doesn't force you to give up defensive posture, the retreat is set before you through the punch by way of posture. It's an opening not a change in form.

Ruiz did little else but out posture Joshua. Joshua's always had poor posture in exchanges, all Ruiz had to do was get into position, posture, wait, and fire to know his punches would be the more meaningful punches.

Far as getting up from Wilder proving Tyson can continue. It does, but it doesn't do much in way of under pressure. Wilder hardly did anything after the big KD. I don't think Joshua, or Wilder in the rematch, will allow themselves to release their emotions until the verdict is absolute. I don't think Tyson getting up after Joshua knocks him down, if he can, means Josh is just going to stand there and watch Tyson throw punches at him only a lazy high guard as an answer.

No. AJ was the betting favorite. And the reasons anyone didnt have faith in AJ were because of concerns about AJs heart, chin and where his head was at. Not Ruizs skill.

True, AJ was the betting favorite, however there were a fair number of people picking Ruiz to knock him out again, whether due to concerns about AJ, Ruiz "having AJ's number" or both
