I can still see him gaining a stone or so, depending who he is fighting against. Fighting someone like Miller or Pulev for example - I’m not sure he needs the same level of athletism?

it's was all mental with Ruiz second time out, he went straight back in with a guy who put him on his back 4 times and was completely written off afterwards.Comment

Having a heavyweight obsess over his weight, is not a good idea. Anthony Joshua has never in his professional career, been out of condition or lacked worth ethic. Joshua should just train, and then whatever he weigh's in at 'That should be his weight, that is the correct philosophy to have'
Joshua did nothing new, he boxed Parker & Povetkin 'I still think he overcooked it in training, his power seemed? Non existent vs Ruiz Junior, and he was flying across the ring as if he was in a pin ball machine 'When he exchanged with Ruiz Junior'
Anthony Joshua got the win in a Olympic styled semi violent game of tick, it was not a dominated or emphatic victory. And from my observation he has still not slayed the dragon or demons from he damage caused in the first fight.
I can see that he is still in a rebuilding process 'Joshua is not the same fighter, that he was before he fought Ruiz Junior'.Comment

Difficult to judge how hard he hits at this weight, but I doubt he's suddenly feather fisted. 237 pounds is still huge.
I think Ruiz just has incredible punch resistance. Some of those shots in the rematch looked big, and I'll still never understand how he took that right hand after the knockdown in the first fight.
Let's see what happens when AJ hits the next guy.
I'd be surprised if they weren't tweaking his style for particular fights. His weight will follow.Comment
