Floyd mayweather is easily the greatest boxer of all time

I just haven't seen a pure boxer as perfect as Floyd. There is nobody I've seen with a higher ring I.Q , better footwork, better ring generalship, better execution.

Near perfect ececution. Not a single movement wasted. Every decision and adjustment he makes is about as perfect a decision you can make.

I have never seen a better pure boxer than Floyd. Never.

To me he is easily the best boxer of all time.

Well you make a fair argument.

I think Mayweather was ATG, but I wouldn’t rank him ahead of the like of SRR, SRL, Durán, Ali, and perhaps a very few others.

I guess I’d have to say SRL was my favorite in terms of all-time overall greatness. He went toe to toe with Durán and almost won. Then completely outclassed him in rematch. Had combinations like nobody’s business. I think he’d have beat Mayweather head to head. Same with Henry Armstrong who ruled several weight classes at once which I feel is a better accomplishment.

But I hear you, based on your criteria, Mayweather could be the best, but maybe not enough special wins to show it.

When they fought wilder got his ass handed to him, but he did floor fury twice and almost knocked him out.

That is your opinion but why start a thread about it????? Do you expect everybody to agree with you or are you trying to talk others into agreeing with you? I think Mayweather is excellent and an all time great but he is far from being the best I have seen. The richest and the most famous but not even close to being thw best I have seen. I won't name the many boxers I have seen who I think were better than Floyd. I am not trying to change you mind about him. I am just letting you know that I don't agree with you about him being the best boxer of all time or even the 15th best of all time.

You are nit picking. Having fast hands, a great chin,stamina, heart, punching power are all part of being a great boxer. You are trying to set Mayweather apart from the rest on pure boxing skill but that is a bunch of BS. Mayweather was great only partly because of his boxing skill. If he did not have other assets but only his boxing skills he would never have been so good and would have been defeated by lots of the guys he fought . Mayweather had fast hands, an iron jaw, heart and stamina. Hell if he did not have a great chin old way past prime Mosley would have knocked him out. If he didn't have heart and great stamina Castillo would have beat him twice.
