I would say Porter and Ugas would be very tough fights but winnable

      I really like Vergils attitude.
It's quite easy to like a fighter like him cause what's not to like.
He has an awesome attitude with power and can box.

I really like Ortiz, but I think there were some moments vs Orozco that showed he still has some things he can improve on before the bigger guys. He did quite a bit of amateurish pushing when the action got too close and he probably should have been warned by the ref (he might have been, i don't remember right now). In those moments, he really had no other way to create space other than to blatantly push off.... That was a jump in competition for him for sure, and eventually he figured things out and finally got to Orozco but it's just something that I noticed and I'll be paying more attention to how his inside game comes along..i'm def questioning it right now.

Solomon has been inconsistent in his career, but good style to see Ortiz against...may cause some issues

If he wins, then I would like Ortiz to fight fellow Golden Boy undefeated prospect Rashidi Ellis in 2020 as their first 'big fight'

Give the kid about a year or a year and half then he can start uttering the names of the likes of Danny.

Right now Danny destroys his young budding career.

The kid has not fought anyone worth a damn in the WW division yet.

We still do not know how he behaves under fire in a long drawn out fight.

Danny has been there done that and is still young.

I really like Ortiz jr. but people are WAY over rating him here.

He's still a level below the Ugas, Thurman and Garcia's of the World. 2 levels below Bud and Spence.

Right now he's a little better then Dulorme, probably around Figuero Jr or Sammy Vasquez jr, maybe a touch better.

            Like where he's heading tho..

All those guys were established, reigning champions. Ortiz and Ennis are barely past the prospect stage. Don't get me wrong, I think they make for a nice match-up, one that I would certainly want to see, but, its just smarter match-making for those guys to go after bigger but less dangerous names instead of trying to derail each other this early for no money or title.

Yeah, that's a fair assessment. In another year he competes with and probably beats that second tier. In two years, he's a pick'em against the very top WW elite.

You guys have to stop talking crazy. Floyd wasn't no where near established at 23 just before facing Corrales he had just come off a tough fight with Emanuel Augustus where he looked less than Stellar. If anything the Corrales performance officially put him on the map. Ortiz is just about at the same point Floyd was minus a title.

If anything Ennis is the 1 that might need a little more promotion but he's not likely to get it given who he's signed with..

I don't see either guy being a major star. Both are good boxers but lack the personality and a fan base. Ortiz seems to have more potential to be a star but Ennis appears to have better skills. A fight between them is just what is needed for a star to be born and situations like this don't need no seasoning.

Which is exactly why I'd fancy a fight between Ortiz and Ennis. Sooner than later. To determine who is really next up out of this current young crop of talented boxers VS seeing Ortiz get exposed by any of the guys at the top level. Dude isn't even ready for someone Danny Garcia yet he's getting ahead of himself there...

Floyd had held the 130 title for going on 3 years when he fought Corrales, bruh.
