He cleared out a division, and there hasn’t been much else for him to compete unless he gets in with some PBC fighters.
Don’t ever compare his resume to Manny’s, Manny took on all challengers didn’t cherry pick. Even fought guys multiple times.

Crawford knows after this fight he’ll need to fight great comp, or his career will be at a standstill.

I have literally been saying this for several yrs & getting flamed for it by many on here. I make predictions about fighters careers so that when it comes true those denying it at the time would hopefully realize fighters true motives, & like in Buds case he has completely proven me right as the yrs go by. Hes 32 yrs old & as soon as he loses his diehard defenders will say whomever beat him only beat him because" he was old doe,a prime bud would have won". I have for several yrs said that Crawford would be in his mid 30s before he fights anyone good at ww.(good by my definition is someone whom is not a 30-1 dog like Crawford's entire ww resume)


Bottom line is Crawford has every step of the way demonstrated hes happy making tons of money vs C/D levels because it also means he gets to erroneously be called p4p king & play dressup wbo champ while avoiding the possibility of losing

Its LITERALLY been like a good 5 yrs since I have been saying that whenever fighters sign to top rank they are basically admitting they want the easiest career path possible while the espn machine overhypes their wins eternally,& so far only Loma is doing anything of note on espn(& Beterbieve finally is merely because hes not a draw so Arum is rolling the dice)
