I cant call why the sanctioning bodies do what they do other Poli-tricks and corruption.
I do think the fans if given the choice would wanna see Fury Wilder rematch other than Whyte.
We also got gate keepers who have defeats with the the champs. Ortiz and Ruiz. Whyte and others honestly should get a crack at them to see where they belong in the division. imo.
But id love to see Ruiz and Ortiz get it on myself .

All the other names you mentioned already had two title fights, white has non and has far better resume than both. He deserves the title shot before mixing it up.
He's wbc #1 for more than 2yrs for a reason. He's no work over.
