Against Judah, Baldomir was cutting off the ring when Judah had already quit. After Judah got caught, he threw in the towel. Baldomir was landing some in the early rounds, but Judah went wherever he pleased. Of course he's going to do what he wants to a guy who's really not trying. Against Gatti, I don't think he cut off the ring honestly. Gatti just decided at some points during the fight to trade with him rather than try to move away. This is different from what Castillo did to Floyd. Floyd was trying to get away and was trying to block what Castillo was throwing, unlike Gatti...
no doubt Castillo has more skills. but this is welter and Baldi is a strong natural welter. Gatti isnt great but he can punch and he hit Baldi flush several times and Baldi didnt budge... i personally feel Floyd will win a UD but my point was Floyd isnt flawless and the first Castillo fight proved it. To say he is just gonna go out and do this that and the other cuz he is so smart(which is what Black Jesus was saying)is just underestimating Baldi, it could be a very tough fight.

So why bring up Castillo-Floyd in the first place if it doesn't have any comparison to Baldomir-Floyd? Just because you like to bring up at any opportunity you can the one close fight Floyd has had in his career to try and tear him down? You brought the comparison to the thread, not I'm telling you why it's a ****** comparison...

well this is off topic to but look what corrales did to castillo in their first fight and look what floyd did against corrales. look what floyd did against corrales with like a bad arm in the first fight to still win a decision and look how he dominated the 2nd fight clearly.

You're right, Floyd isn't flawless. But, again, the comparison to the Castillo fight isn't warranted here. The reason Floyd had trouble with Castillo is because he is a very good fighter. He does a lot of things very well and he was a pretty big lightweight. If Baldomir was as good as Castillo on top of being a natural welterweight, I think Floyd would probably lose. But Baldomir isn't in Castillo's league. The weight alone isn't going to beat Floyd. He needs some skills and/or power to go with it...

If you read my first post I said I thought Floyd would win a UD. I simply said we don't know its going to be an easy fight. In the past, Floyd has had problems against fighters that constantly pressure you like Castillo. While not as SKILLED, Baldomir is a pressure fighter and has a solid chin. Your point about Judah is wrong imo. Judah was able to do what he wanted at the beginning of the fight because he is faster than Baldomir no doubt, like Floyd. But Judah didn't give up, Baldomir wore him down with his style. Once Baldomir caught Judah with a big punch, Judah was trying to run even more than at the beginning of the fight, it was just more predictable. In the beginning he was hitting and moving making it hard to predict what he was going to do.

Against what other pressure fighter besides Castillo has he had problems against? PBF has destroyed unskilled pressure fighters. That's the point. I could see how Ricky Hatton, Kostya Tsyzu, and Margarito could be a problem for Floyd because they are good pressure fighters. Baldomir is not...

i respect your opinion, I feel the fact that he is a natural welter and a strong welter and that is the reason he beat Gatti so easyly and was able to hurt Judah at one point and pulled out the W. Floyd is not a natural welter and he hasnt fought a natural welter yet. If he fights Baldi that will be his first and although Baldi isnt as skilled as Castillo but he is a much bigger fighter and equally as strong( not suggesting he has KO power like Castillo)that will compinsate for that.

                  Floyd is human btw.

What decent pressure fighter has he fought other than Castillo. And saying Jesus Chavez doesn't count because that was at 130 and this is at 147... big difference.
