Just because Baldomir beat Gatti all of sudden he becomes legitimate? Before Gatti/Baldomir fought not many were even recognizing Baldomir as anything..but now since he beat Gatti who was just a shell of himself all of a sudden he's legitimate. Anyone would've done that to Gatti that night. Too many belts get passed around, they don't mean as much. Manny Pacquiao is the best at 130, but who has the belt? who knows...

I wish Baldi would fight Hatton first since I think that would be a bit more competative. I really hope that at the very least Baldi puts on a good performance and doesn't get KTFO in the early rounds. I'd just love to see him continue to put preassure on people. It kinda reminds me of Cooney vs. Holmes.

I think Baldomir is a more legitimate opponent but also a much worse opponent. Baldomir has the linear welterweight title, which Floyd needs to win, but Baldomir is a terrible fighter with no skills. Margarito would give a better fight. Still, beyond that I would be okay with the fight EXCEPT that Mayweather said he had an opponent who could guarantee more than 8 million. Baldomir will not guarantee that, so Floyd will always be remembered for ducking Margarito.
