The top 3 you can put them in any order for me. If it was cut and dried we wouldn’t talk so much s.hit about it on here.

None have separated themselves from the others.

Fury should have got the nod against Wilder but since then he’s stood stock still and Wilder has two big KO wins against ranked opponents. AJ has beaten the best fighters but he’s also the only one who has got smashed up.

It’s probably just me but is anyone quite excited by the prospect of any of the other 7 facing each other?

Povetkin vs Hunter was good and so was Whyte and Parker.

I can imagine Ruiz vs Povetkin being great. Ortiz vs Whyte. Hunter vs Ruiz. Usyk vs Parker...any combo really.

Concerning the top 3 fighting others

Wilder vs Parker is good one

Fury vs Usyk would be fascinating
Yup, there’s some good fights to be made in the Top 10. I would like for the 1-3 guys to fight each other, the 4-7 guys all to mix it up, and the 8-10 guys to fight.

Probably too much politics for Joshua, Wilder and Fury to all fight each other so I’d be happy with Usyk vs. Povetkin or Hunter, Whyte vs. Ruiz, and Parker vs. Ortiz in 2020.

              1. DEONTAY WILDER
I have him number one simply because he has the best weapon in HW boxing — like world powers are the countries with the best weaponry. He will stay at my number one spot until someone decisively defeats him either by knockout or points (and I definitely think it’s possible since he also has some glaring weaknesses). But, no one has been able to decisively beat him yet, not even Fury (the refereeing, the count, the judging, and the result of a draw in their first fight were all fair in my opinion). I honestly think that the new and improved Joshua may have a better shot at taking his belt than Fury. I also think Parker has a good shot, if that fight is ever made.

              2. ANTHONY JOSHUA
I am highly impressed with the way he bounced back from a very humiliating defeat. He looks a lot better to me at his new weight and doesn’t seem overly concerned anymore with knocking opponents out. I honestly think that he learned his lesson and will be a different, better boxer from this point. I know people aren’t happy with the comparison (I’ve said it before) but he reminds me of a peak Wladimir Klitschko right now, with a little bit of James Toney’s style thrown in for good measure. I actually think more highly of him now having seen the way he bounced back from the lowest of lows than I ever did when his record was spotless.

              3. TYSON FURY
He is big, awkward, has a good chin and excellent lateral movement for his size. I think he’s also shown he rises to the level of the occasion. Though I like him, I think he’s sometimes overhyped a bit since he beat Klitschko when he was already slipping, and although he took Wilder’s best and got up, he wasn’t able to put him away or even win on the scorecards. I am also concerned about his recent forays into WWE and book writing (his decisions, but it may imply he’s losing interest in boxing). That said, if he can stay in a good place mentally and physically, he will always be a threat to anyone in the HW division. And if he gets and wins the fights he needs to win — starting with the rematch with Wilder — he could move up my list overnight.

              4. JOSEPH PARKER
He has time and again demonstrated an elite chin and good movement and technical ability. He’s also a good infighter, something I feel is a bit of a lost art. I don’t think he’s top three, but he still gives any of those guys a challenge if he fights them. His only losses were a fight with Joshua in which the referee deterred him from fighting his fight, and a war in which he had Dillian Whyte hurt bad but lost a close points decision.

              5. OLEKSANDR USYK
He’s the unified cruiserweight champion moving up to heavyweight. He’s always show heart and good skills and technical ability. He can give a punch and take a punch. Only time will tell how he can compete with the best bigger HW’s — and I have my doubts. But with the excellent pedigree he possesses, he will remain at my number five spot until he gives me reason to raise him or lower him.

              6. ADAM KOWNACKI
I feel that he’s quite underrated — he has a good chin, fair power, and excellent boxing instinct, and I believe he’s only improving at this point. I’d really like to see him in there against some of the top five heavyweights soon so I can get a better picture of just how good he is. And as he’s just now entering the prime HW age, I think those fights need to be made soon. If they aren’t, or if he gets them but performs poorly, expect him to fall in my rankings.

              7. DANIEL DUBOIS
I think he’s still a bit unproven, but I see all of the raw ingredients of a future HW champion with this guy. If he can refine his skills and get the right fights at the right time, expect him to move up this ranking. I think he’ll prove to be a threat to the likes of Wilder, Joshua, and Fury in the next five years or so, but only time will tell.

              8. OSCAR RIVAS
A highly skilled, but largely unknown HW who should have been given the nod over (a juiced-up) Dillian Whyte IMHO. He reminds me of Luis Ortiz, but is younger, fresher, and more talented.

              9. ANDY RUIZ
The man really let his fans down and embarrassed himself this weekend. Starting last June, he had it all (boxing wise) and he threw it all away. That said, I believe he’s got an excellent chin (one that could probably take Wilders best at least as well as Fury did) not to mention the kind of power that Fury can only dream of. To bad he doesn’t have good discipline. He could have been a HOFer.

              10. LUIS ORTIZ
Some people (mostly Wilder fans) try to make him out to be a top three HW, but I don’t think that is warranted as he hasn’t fought any top HW’s other than Wilder, so there isn’t really much to go on. That said, he’s got some good power and great technical ability, but he’s also fading rapidly if you look at his most recent fights. He will likely not be in my top ten for much longer.

              ————————————————
              Honorable mention:

              11. DILLIAN WHYTE
I used to love this guy, but he looks awful right now in my opinion. With his powerful hooks and come-forward style, he could still be up in the top ten again if he can get back in shape and prove he can fight well without PEDs.

              12. FILIP HRGOVIC
He’s a rising talent, but I feel he’s still too raw and unfinished to get any big fights. There’s a lot he still needs to work on, but he could end up being a real contender with the right training and career management.

Povetkin beats almost everyone on the list most of you idiots posted.

I’d like to see Ortiz vs Povetkin. I’ll Povetkin to knock him out in 3 like he did in the amateurs.
