Fury struggles against short come forward or fast boxers, hence he got knocked down by Cunningham and some European guy. Ruiz can counter and Fury’s antics won’t work against him. Fury also takes rds off and against Ruiz, he might not be able to get away with it like the Swede showed by bursting his eye open.
I’d like to see Wilder vs Ruiz for PBC belt. Ruiz has the chin and left hook to counter Wilder’s biggest strength and weakness. I wanna see this fight. If Wilder beats him (without Ruiz taking a dive), he’ll earn my respect.

Joshua is probably the second biggest puncher in the heavyweight division, and Ruiz Junior was not overly intimidated 'If he dedicated abit more to training, I think he causes complete and utter chaos in the division'.
Right now? I hope Ruiz Junior does not go missing, he needs to be in a meaningful fight early next year.

All these excuses, man. He gained more weight for power since he didn't seem to gas out. If he never trained - he would've gassed out. Ruiz never moves his feet and weight had nothing to do with it. Even if he were to slim down to 260 - he'd still be the same plodder with fast hands. He was lucky the first time he hit a lotto with a perfect lucky punch. He'd beat most heavies including Wilder - Josh is just a level above the guy. Respect the champ.
Is there any heavy who shuts down and completely outboxes other heavies whenever he decides to box?
AJ vs Parker - one sided shutdown 10-2
AJ vs Takam - one sided shutdown 10-0
Aj vs Ruiz - one sided shutdown 11-1
AJ vs Klitchko (42 years old, 2 years retired) - life and death and barely escaped getting KO'd.

Like a butt hole, everybody has one.
This guy should be embarrassed and retire. You got lucky the first fight, caught him with that punch you cant recover from. I don't know why Ruiz thought he was the better fighter. Blew up like the Hindenburg for this fight and blamed it on eating 3 meals the day of the weigh in. Typical bad fighter. Get ur a$$ whipped and then blame it on the rain. Please NO 3rd fight. He had his chance and ate it away. Lack of discipline and testicular fortitude. Too many barbacoa bowls from Chipotle. Straight BS. 1st time champ and you're looking past someone. Did you think your name was Iron Mike Tyson. 😆

I'm kind of surprised how strong the Ruiz hate is, right next to the off night for AJ or lucky punch comments.
Ruiz has decent power at mid range and good power to the body but I don't look at him as that scary until someone stands and trades. The same thread bashing Ruiz excuses has AJ excuses all over it!!
Not a huge fan or hater of any current HW so I have fairly nuetral opinions on it. Ruiz was better conditioned June 1st as he just got done with a probably half assed camp and fight in April. Then he probably did train hard and focused 4 weeks. He backed AJ up all night in June. And with little movement in 2nd fight he still moved forward as AJ backed up and moved sideways. Surprised he was that scared of getting caught.
Wonder about AJs next fight, I think the June fight changed him and while he ran around a slow target and won, will he remain outside as a fighter or will he come back into the pocket with power?Last edited by Ccarroll2133; 12-09-2019, 07:47 PM.

Stop with the excuses already.
He knows, we all know he ****ed up and he lost the fight. Period.
Now he's just talking about what happened. He didn't train and he didn't take joshua seriously after what happened the first fight, he got too overconfident and lazy.
"I had a panic attack and that's the only reason I lost" is an excuse.
"I made a terrible mistake, joshua beat my ass and took my belts. I ****ed up because I didn't train." is not an excuse.
