Comments Thread For: Joshua in Line To Fight at Tottenham Stadium - Usyk or Pulev

Anthony Joshua's next fight looks likely to be at the new 62,000-seater Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London against either Oleksandr Usyk or Kubrat Pulev. Joshua regained his WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight titles with a landslide points win over Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia on Saturday and has told Eddie Hearn, his promoter, that he wants a fight back in London next, after twice boxing abroad in 2019.

iPulev then Usyk. Damn it's gonna be hard who to root for between Usyk vs Joshua. I am a big fan of both those guys. Usyk with one of the best Cruiserweight resumes in history and Joshua with a great Heavyweight resume.

Please don't split the titles up.

Usyk should step aside and wait so he can win 4 belts instead of 3.

Only way Joshua is not gonna get stripped is fighting Pulev in the first week of March then Usyk in the first week of June. Pulev should be easy work for Joshua anyways like Canelo-Fielding

Knowing Eddie Hearn he's gonna play it safe to protect his golden goose and pick Pulev.

It'll be Pulev. Joshua will vacate WBO to later have unification with Usyk.

He still hasn't cracked America and left in humiliation last time he tried.

                    Pulev is the smart bet.

Eddie promotes both fighters who would fight for a vacant WBO belt (Usyk/Chisora), so if Joshua has to drop one belt that would be the one. Then no matter who wins, Joshua could try to win his WBO belt back if he can beat Pulev first.

Pulev would fight Kownacki for the IBF if he dropped that one. Pulev is Top Rank and Kownacki is PBC, so no matter who won it would be much harder to re-unify.

Hearn is a weasel but in this case, taking the Pulev fight is 100% the best move for his fighter.
