    I think yes and yes.

Joshua deserves all the credit in the world and put on a brilliant boxing display. It was a great win and I didn’t expect him to be able to box that well.

That being said, I don’t remember the last time a guy who was advertised to be such a puncher at heavyweight used that kind of strategy and avoided engaging the way Joshua did. I also think Ruiz was clearly the bigger puncher, which is strange considering Ruiz knocks out only 63% of his opponents.

If you also look at Joshua’s last five fights, he’s failed to score knockouts in three of them. A fourth also should have gone the distance but the referee stopped it on Takam way too quickly late in the fight.

Joshua has power to hurt most anyone in the division not named Andy Ruiz.

It is fortunate for Joshua that he can beat Andy with height and reach.

No and No. But Ruiz has the better chin, so why stand trading and risk getting caught again.

No and No. The thing is, and I'll teach you something now...the puncher in a fight is the guy who can take the other guys power the best. In this fight its Ruiz, so head to head in the ring, yes he's the bigger puncher but no he doesnt punch harder.

Joshua's power is real, he could get anyone out of there but sometimes knockouts dont come, his chin is shaky and fighters sub-conciously factor that in, his hooks and uppercuts are lethal but he leaves opportunities when he throws them, if he had a great chin, I think he would throw them more freely. Also Ruiz is packing granite, some of the shots he landed last night and the first fight would have put most heavies on ***** street and maybe out...

I think AJ probably hits slightly harder than Ruiz. His punches just look a bit harder to me. He puts lots of weight behind his punches and they are fast punches. AJ has most of his weight up high in his big chest, shoulders and arms to put into the punch while most of Ruiz's weight is low in his fat ass and giant stomach although he is big all over. AJ has a much higher KO percentage although sometimes the ref stops his fights too early. Parker would know who hits harder since he shared a ring with both of them. Ruiz has a much better chin so even if AJ probably hits a bit harder he still doesn't want to trade big shots with Ruiz.
