Is Anthony Joshua more likely going to fight Usyk or Pulev next?

What time frame does it look like Anthony Joshua is fighting next?

Curious because with Wilder vs Fury 2 in February. I wonder if there is a chance Anthony Joshua fights the winner of Wilder vs Fury 2 in 2020.

I think AJ will probably fight in Wembley in April or May against either Usyk or Pulev.

I reckon you are probably right on dates and opponents.

Don't see AJ fighting either Fury or Wilder till 2021. There is a decent chance we could get Fury-Wilder 2 and 3 to take care of 2020 for those two.

Usyk is next, it has to happen in the next 6 months or he vacates.

I'd say Pulev next. He can vacate the WBO and then fight the winner of Usyk and Parker for it later. Makes the most sense politically and financially for Matchroom.

Is it his choice or do the sanctioning bodies decide?

It depends on what each sanctioning body's requirement for mandatory is and when was the last one fought.

Pulev first as the IBF will strip him otherwise

Usyk will get a side fee and a decent warm up opponent on Joshua’s next card, then a shot at Joshua later in 2020

The WBO are far more flexible
