He beat an overweight Ruiz that didn’t train. And he really didn’t look that great in doing it. I’ve seen heavy bags move their head more.

But Wilder is like a coiled cobra, if Joshua makes mistakes himself and defensive lapses he'll be open to getting knocked out. It will be who executes on the night, despite popular belief I think it will be a low contact fight and lots of fainting and hesitation from both guys, until someone lands a bomb.

I dont think Wilder or any heavyweight would take the shots Ruiz took in both fights so dont expect Wilder to press the same way or Joshua to fight in the same defensive way
True Wilder doesn’t have Ruiz’s chin, he wouldn’t need to move like that .Wilder is a far easier style for AJ ,easy work.

Wilder isn’t a 300lbs bowling ball that has to get close to land punches.

Wilder’s range is still going to give him chances. It’s not like AJ was using unorthodox angles or anything. He was just keeping it long because he could but that’s not as easy against wilder
What he was doing may seem simple, but very efficient. Switching directions like he did against Ruiz will give Wilder trouble. He tends to have difficulty, well should I say, more difficulty finding movers.

They have comparable reach, so Joshua should be able to keep Wilder's lead occupied and take away his jab like he did Ruiz's. He should also not have too many issues tying him up if he gets in trouble. Finding the back hand might be a bit more difficult though.

I don’t think either can take each others power

It’s whoever lands that big punch first

Wilder will be doing it from long distance

Joshua will be doing it from the counter or on the inside

Wilder is fit and not a fat fu** like ruiz, wilder would get rid of joshua inside 4 rounds, the guy has been rocked by every fighter he's faced so far, last night he was in to survive....he should not go near fury or wilder, and i like joshua more than wilder btw but the truth is the truth no matter how much i dislike wilder

if he can do that 12 rounds without getting caught he can beat wilder, fury couldnt even do it so its a big IF but if hes focused like he was this fight and training camp he has a good chance

                  Wilder’s chin isn’t great

I think Joshua has enough power to put Wilder out

Hello Bojangles, hope you are well my man.

Only major thing I think that we should take from last night for predicting a Wilder fight is that Joshua looks much better in the mid 230's to the mid 240's, and he should stay there.

Stylistically he fought a great fight for Ruiz, but he shouldnt even think about trying it vs Wilder. He would get caught at some point 100%. His advantages vs Wilder are basically the complete opposite to vs Ruiz. Boxing at range, moving and fighting behind the jab basically gave Ruiz no shot at winning. Whereas with Wilder he needs to get inside the range and throw in short powerful combinations.
