Comments Thread For: Davison: Not Being Nasty, Joshua Was Like a Poor Man's Fury

Ben Davison, head trainer for heavyweight contender Tyson Fury, was a very interested observer in Saturday's rematch between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz. Joshua reclaimed the WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO world titles with a twelve round unanimous decision over Ruiz in Saudi Arabia.

I know I'll probably regret wondering this but now I'm curious what Fury himself has to say about the performance.

Cannot argue with Ben's analysis. AJ did what he had to do against a very disappointing/morbidly obese opponent. But let's not get carried away with the "AJ masterclass" talk.

              Davison and his digs.

He boxed nothing like Fury. Fury isn't that fast and isn't that fit, he's just awkward. Completely different.

Tbh you have said some of the dumbest crap anyone has ever said on this forum because you're a hater.

Look at this pure idiocy of this post:

I think there are definitely parallels with how AJ fell apart mentally in New York. When Pricey got found out by Tony Thompson a few years back, he fell apart even more spectacularly/ridiculously in the rematch!
Just look at the dumb stuff you posted. You don't really have any credibility. Comparing AJ to Audley or David Price.. I mean, that just proves you don't know what you're talking about at all.

And now you're not giving him his due credit when he proved you wrong. that's just pathetic hater talk.

Shame Ruiz throws away what could be his career over coming in 20+ lbs more obese than he was before.
Can’t knock Joshua though...he came in 10 lbs less than he did last time, obviously trained hard, made adjustments, and won off the back foot. Ruiz simply lacks discipline, he’s like Douglas, Tua, Bowe....just too much of a glutton to stay on top when he gets there
