When Fury legit put on masterclasses you AJ fanboys say he stunk out the place, has no power, boring as hell, etc etc. What AJ tried to do last night was like a really bad impersonation of Tyson Fury, without the finesse and classy boxing, with a limited ring IQ. You can't slate Fury's boxing style if you think what AJ done last night was good! AJ's "boxing masterclass" was like driving a Lada compared to Fury's Rolls-Royce masterclasses.

My take is that...he showed another side to his game that none of us knew he had. To me he looks a more complete fighter today, and as someone already said hes a fast learner and processes very quickly, he understands his weaknesses.

You say he has a limited ring IQ, I actually think it's high....an IQ is a measurement of intelligence, it is not a measurement of what you've learned. For sure Joshua has not LEARNED as much as someone that has been boxing since childhood like Fury, but to me, last night showed and in fact he's shown in several fights that he is very intelligent in the ring.

You're making a common misconception that back foot boxers are the smartest and it's just not that simple.

Out of the top 3 Joshua is the most versatile heavyweight...is Fury a better boxer? Of course. Is Wilder a better puncher? Obviously. But I think Joshua has shown to be the one that can change it up if the fight requires. I would make Joshua an underdog in both fights, but he is certainly capable of winning them, he presents big problems for both.

Only idiots would not give him a chance against those two, this is HW boxing, and styles make fight. Fury is not going in there to stop Joshua, he would do what Joshua just did, box and box. Fury isn’t taking any chances of getting hit, if Joshua fight him like that then I give him more chance.

Wilder can be outbox, if Joshua sticks to his gameplan and doesn’t take anything big from the right hand then he has a better chance to win.

Exactly, TS is reacting to ******ity with his own ******ity. Joshua is a big problem for both of those guys, he will be much more effective at walking Fury down than Wilder was.

Against Wilder, I actually disagree slightly, I dont think Joshua can box him for the full 12, I think he has to be looking to check mate Wilder behind a boxing approach. So looking to hurt him but using his boxing ability to set him up for big shots that come out organically after moving Wilder out of position. My big question mark is whether Joshua can finish him once hes hurt him, and whether he can avoid the right hand before that happens

It wasn't the masterclass some are claiming it to be but it was the strategy he needed to use to get the win. Almost everyone said Joshua needs to box like that to get a decision, the question was could he pull it off and he did. His movement was impressive for his size but he was tentative with the right hand and anytime he tried to open up, Ruiz would let his hands go, made AJ uncomfortable and have to get back on his bike.

It was a good albeit cautious performance against someone who should never have got in that position in the first place. Fury plays with Ruiz and Wilder sparks him in about 8 rounds (while being behind on points probably).

I can't see Joshua beating Fury or Wilder boxing like that. If he gives up that much ground to Wilder and lets him take center ring like that, he will get caught with the right hand. Fury will simply box his head off and Usyk would outwork him. He's always got the power to hurt these guys so it's not a forgone conclusion but that way of fighting works with a short guy who's slow on his feet with short arms but won't be as effective against the top guys.

Everyone has a different style and AJ will need to adapt according to his opponent. If any of these fights are ever made, it will be interesting to see what AJ brings. Last night, he was good enough. Nothing more, nothing less.
