It wasn't 7 in the am for the people of the Phillipines and Japan, man, where Donaire and Inoue are huge stars. I ain't seen the worldwide viewing figures but I'm willing to bet that they exceded what they would have been if they'd shown the fight on US time by an order of magnitude.

Honestly it's like some dudes don't get that the US ain't quite the center of the entire universe just yet.

DAZN's production value stinks. One would think when people paying $20/month they won't need to play commercials during the main event. They should of copied the way HBO did it. When the fight started all that mattered and all that HBO concentrated on was the fight. No commercial breaks, no talking to celebrities during the fight, etc. Between every round HBO went to the corners, DAZN does no show that kind of commitment to the fight they are actually showing. People may have legit complaints about their announcers, but HBO's production value and camera work was excellent. DAZN is cheap in comparison to HBO.

I got home from work at 5am, waited tired as fkd till the main event started at 8:30am here in Australia, when the fights are in the US they're normally shown late in the afternoon

Damn, you guys ain't got it so bad when it comes to the boxing though, most of the US cards fall something like Sunday lunchtime Down Under don't they? If you'll forgive the stereotyping BBQ and boxing can't be too bad, can it?

Us poor saps in the UK have to stay up til between about 4 and 7 in the a.m for the US events, week in week out. US fans seem to reckon many UK fans are dangerous obsessives but in fact most of us are just crazed from years of sleep deprivation.
