Full disclosure: I am a huge Wilder fan.

I think he destroys AJ.

But, I am a boxing fan first.

If you say you love this sport, yet you can't see the beauty and the wonder of what Joshua accomplished tonight, then find something else to do.

If you can't see it, you don't deserve this sport.

Root for something else.

AJ was as humiliated and as low as any human being (not athlete, human being) could get last June.

His future was completely on the line tonight.

Somehow, thru all the embarrassment and all the taunts and all the doubts, he found a way.

He redeemed himself.

He didn't barely eke out a victory either.

It wasn't close.

I don't know about you, but what else says "champion" like this?

Give AJ his props.

Whether you are a fan of his or not, if you say that boxing is your sport, give the man some love tonight.

He taught us all something.

Full respect to Joshua. He did what he had to do. It wasn't pretty, but it WAS effective.

When I heard Ruiz was 280lbs+ I was like; "Awwww ****." I thought Andy would win. But I also DIDNT think he would come into the fight in such terrible condition.

AJ won. He didnt look overly impressive, but he won. He beat a much worse version of Ruiz, than the Ruiz who beat him.

How much credit do you give him for that? I'll give him this much; He bounced back better than I personally thought he would.

You dont get much credit getting a point decision on a guy that knocked you out.

Ruiz isnt wasnt supposed to best AJ in the first place.

Ruiz is and was under dog for a reason. Boxing fans see everything different just like judges. I never care WHO wins. I care HOW they win. This was a broing uneventful fight because instead of trying to redeem himself against the guy that KOed him and called him a quiter aj was content on just coasting through jabbing, running and clinching.

I seen Aj have good performances. NOTHING in this fight will make his highlight reel

This is it exactly. Andy lost more than AJ won. But I will give AJ credit for one thing; He was FAR MORE professional in camp than Andy was.

Thought I was ALONE on this forum but yeah I'm a BOXING FAN FIRST! Usually don't give a sh#t who win these fights just as long as they FIGHT

Cong**** to AJ! Yeah OK wasn't the most exciting but it was clearly the right strategy for a man that is coming back from being stopped.

Slow the Pace Down, avoid a Fire Fight, don't be too Proud to Clinch and use that Long STICK to keep the shorter guy from getting on the inside

Not sure what is the Problem and what people have a problem with. Yeah OK wasn't exciting however in this case, Redeem yourself, get the titles back and you can be more exciting during another fighter vs a Less Dangerous Opponent

This is why I always post how Boxing Fans "Don't Know Sh#t" because we don't...or at least not as much as WE THINK and that is the TRUTH!
