Wilder KOs him on the first hard punch he lands. He can outbox Wilder until Wilder lands and its night night.

      It's simple really.
Ruiz is very good at that range, Wlider is not.
Conversely, you can box circles around Wilder 6, 8, 10 rounds and then all of a sudden it's lights out because that's where he needs you to be, at the end of his punches.

There's a good reason you dont see Wilder matched with pressure fighters, they don't afford him the space to launch that rocket.

ortiz "pressured" wilder in the first fight...it didnt work well....granted he didnt do it from the opening bell....but its all the same...pressure wilder from the bell get knocked out faster....it wont work as easy as you think it would on him

win or lose against fury or whomever i think eventually youll see wilder/kownacki...so i thnk well get our chance to see it

Ortiz is never a pressure fighter. He used good foot placement to keep away from the right hand. And then he forgot to lol.
The rare instances we've seen Wilder pushed back, he actually looked a bit like Joshua last night; skittish, unsure quite what to do. His punches certainly don't have the same effect either, those long limbs aren't designed for short hooks and uppercuts.

How do you think Wilder would cope with Ruiz?
