That was some decent boxig by Joshua, but disappointed in Ruiz. He told one interviewer that he basically trained himself for the rematch. He obviously didn't really prepare properly, just enjoying the newfound riches. I don't think we need to see a third fight as it will look similar to this fight. AJ can box but I don't know if he beats Fury, and if Wilder catches him, it's probably over.

Exactly. When you've adopted the correct strategy and have the sense and discipline to stick with it, it's a job well done.

The biggest risk for AJ would have been -- as you allude -- to let his pride get involved and got into a fire-fight late on.

Ruiz will always have trouble with this style. If Parker could do it why can't Joshua...
Ruiz gets schooled by Fury and knocked out by Wilder. I'm beginning to think that just maybe Fury beats everybody.

Oh I do! That's why he might lose to Fury! But AJ is definitely not at his level...

Unlike the 1st fight Joshua used his attributes well and kept his discipline to win extremely clearly.
Spot on - Joshua knew he couldn’t KO Ruiz, so fought intelligently and with good discipline to get the W. Doesn’t mean that’ll be his style for every opponent moving forward, but it’s certainly another useful string to his bow.

Yes.I think Fury is the best pure heavyweight boxer out there.Wilder is dangerous with that punch though.

Sometimes as in the case tonight you want to support the underdog and think the fairy tale can continue but its all about ability and dedication.Joshua had that in abundance tonight whereas Ruiz let himself down with the discipline side. I think in flashes Ruiz showed he was dangerous and given a more arduous training camp could have done better tonight?

Joshua got the win, so well done 'he executed his game plan better etc' But this rematch win is by no means on the level of Lennox Lewis vs Hasim Rahnman, or Wladimir Kiltschko vs Lamon Brewster.

Joshua for me, seems to have less believe in his power and offense.

All of these big heavyweights are flawed, none of them are massively that good 'Wilder, Joshua or Fury' good job they are fighting in this era.
Fury and Wilder would have battered mini Mike and Holyfield. Stop being deluded with older eras. They batter Joshua also. Don't mention Joshua like he is in their league you ****** prat.
