    AJ vs Ruiz II?

I genuinely can't see a poll thread for this one.

I think it's one of the hardest picks to make in many years. Although it now seems suddenly less hard after the weigh in tbh.

Ruiz has fast hands but slow feet.. I thought if AJ didn't stand in front of him he'd get the victory the first time. Then... he stood right in front of him. Bloody Hell.

There's so many factors at bay.. Ruiz has got a Hell of a chin, but we already KNOW that he can hurt AJ.

The other factor is that I don't believe it's a level playing field in terms of officiating, and I thoroughly expect the judges to be favourable (favorable, Fat Yanks) to AJ on any close rounds.

With the weight gain, I'm edging towards AJ, and a great bet would be by points, as I very much doubt it'll go the distance, but if it DOES, the odds should be good.

Anyway, that's my tentative take - what do you guys reckon? Keep it civil now.

Hopefully we just get predictions in this thread. I'm going for AJ by KO in round 10.

Joshua win. Joshua will take his time and keep the distance, Ruiz will get more desperate as the fight goes on and get caught coming in. Joshua won't make the same mistake as last time and get reckless trying to finish him.

The real question is: Should Ruiz wear a suicide vest on his ring walk to attract a local fan base?

If so, do they make them in his size, extra fat?

10/3 odds for Joshua by decision. Not bad return

Joshuas gonna make it look easy this time. First fight was a fluke and in reality ruiz is no better than parker/povetkin/takam level of opponents. Not only that but hes looking looking like his diet has consisted of tubs of margarine in the build up

Closer this fight draws, the more difficult it becomes to call.

Originally I have been picking Joshua to win, but his week I have not been as convinced.

But for the sake of the thread, I will pick Joshua by 9-11 round TKO.

              Note: I have not voted.

                - -Keep civil eliminates 90%!!!

50-50 but had AJ prior to the weighin, but now 50-50 and might as well be rolling loaded dice.

                  My thoughts exactly.

AJ heard the boos in MSG last time and tried to entertain. In an act of desperation, he got clipped, concussed, and the rest is history.

This time, AJ keeps his distance and 1-2s his way to a boring decision. Maybe he'll get the late KO if Ruiz can't handle all that extra weight.

If AJ can stay outside and hold when Ruiz comes in he will get a decision. I think that weight loss is for stamina purposes because Ruiz puts so much pressure and makes him fight more than he likes. If Ruiz gets in he will stun AJ with those fast short combinations.

Both guys do what they do very well. I have been back and forth with this one but I will give a slight edge to AJ. He was not doing so bad in the fight until he got caught high on the head.
