He's well prepared, but didn't know what time the weigh in was? What boxer doesn't have the last 48 hours meticulously planned? I plan everything before playing amateur sport. When I'll eat drink, ****. I find it hard to believe he doesn't have at least that level of planning.

How much is he eating to gain 15 pound in 6 hours? At that rate the fight might get stopped early because he needs a dump.

I believe in andy. I trust he knows what he's doing and he looked good to me despite what the scales say.

Ruiz is an undefeated champion with the most belts at heavyweight. He didn't get here because he doesnt know what the **** he's doing.

I had him beating parker so I consider him undefeated.

Anthony has actually handled this loss with as much professionalism and grace as one could imagine. Hadn't made any excuses, kept his team in tact, gave credit to his opponent. I never was a fan of the guy, but I have to give it up to him in this instance.

        Wilder still smashes him though.
AJ has heart, buts its his "professionalism and grace" that worry me. I don't like the way he has handled his loss or how he has talked about losing before. In this sport I would rather train a poor loser or one that looks at losing like chewing on tinfoil. Show me a good loser, and ill show you a loser is a saying that fits boxing more then any other sport imo. Ruiz coming in at 283 is a disgrace, and if AJ cant win this fight I see a VERY hard time getting back to top.

An armchair critic calling a heavyweight world champion with 3 belts a disgrace lol

If ruiz is a disgrace, what are you? A piece of shlt's piece of shlt? How many world championships do you hold?

That poster and Ruiz should fight. The winner has the correct position and the loser will have to admit he was wrong publicly.

Andy Ruiz Jr was 268lbs on fight night after a 6-week camp.

Six months later, with a full camp under his belt, Ruiz Jr is talking about he wanted to show up, purposefully, even heavier? Tf?

The difference being no-one is paying john l $10m.

Just like no-one will ever pay Ruiz $10m again after tomorrow. He won't have any belts then either.

If Ruiz is cashing out then fair enough. I don't get hit in the head for a living so I'll not criticise anyone else who decides not to.

But if your plan is to be a top level fighter then you simply don't come in at this weight. You would think $10m might make you take your craft seriously.

He may have been losing weight; with the run after the upset and whatever he was doing with his stardom, it wouldn't shock me to find out that Ruiz showed up for camp 300lbs+.
