Any full SMW belt will be good for Nelo. If he does Saunders in May and Smith in September. That would make for a good year. Then maybe the year after he can chase Beterbiev and Bivol. By then Beterbiev will be a soft grandpa.

From the way Saunders, and Smith, looked in their last fights, they don't have much chance against Canelo.

Although Saunders didn’t look his best, a fight vs canelo is his lottery ticket. You’d expect to see the very best bjs in there if he gets his shot... which to me, still isn’t enough to beat canelo... but would be intriguing

Big payday for pos Saunders. Easy night for Canelo...

On the plus side, though I may or may not watch, it’ll be the first time in a long time I’ll be rooting for a (particularly brutal) Canelo win.

They have to do something to try and convince Haymon to stop freezing them out.

Haymon hasn't acknowledged them for a long time now and the WBO has not lost one bit of sleep.

The WBO makes more money in one Canelo fight than they do with the whole PBC roster. WBO doesn't care.

The WBO would have made crums in the Wilder vs Ortiz ll. Crums.

No way Saunders wins on the cards (even if he completely schools Canelo) and he doesn't exactly have ko power.

He knows he's taking an L but for that kind of pay why not.

his style can pose problems but he hasn't been very active , hasn't been impressive since Lemuiex 2 yrs. Not a top choice imo

I don't like Canelo or Saunders but if this fight is ordered, let's see if Saunders finds a way to weasel his way out of it. He talks a lot of BS but he rarely ever backs it up by fighting anyone he consistently talks about.
