McNeely is the Definition of A Great White Hype , looks like he Fought 4-5 guys with winning records before the Tyson fight. You don’t get credit for beating down guys you’re supposed to beat down.
I just rewatched the fight and I will say Props to McNeely for not fighting scared and Thinking he could go Toe 2 Toe with Tyson

Besides the thread starter, who ever hyped him ????
It was a legitimate question. He was ranked number 7 in the division at the time.
You single handedly proved something I've been trying to get universally accepted for a few years unsuccessfully:that ranking are & always have been complete bs since they are bought & paid for by dirtbags like Arum & they are not based on any credible criteria. Did you know that the wbo,& Ibf both decided to not only rank dead men but also moved those dead men up in rankings after they had been buried for several yrs?
Bottom line is that guy was a mega bum bigger of a mega bum cherrypick than anyone all the way til ggg vs rolls broke its record for bumliest mismatch of all time.
Why doesn’t Tyson Fury get credit for coming out of a two years lay off to beat Seferi seferi or Pianeta? Because they are basically bums who are there for a reason.
