No one, and I mean no one, expected Ruiz to perform like he did the first fight. He was mucho calm when taking big shots, and had the presence of mind to fire back, which is what won him the fight. What I like about this next fight is that no one, and I mean no one, knows how this Mexican will perform while defending his titles. Same level of focus? Higher level? Lower level? And does AJ really have a plan he can stick to even under adversity? I’m ready to see how it all unfolds.
