Agreed! Though I guess this might be why there hasn't been an announcement yet, still a little wiggle room post Saturday's results.

Personally, i'd much rather see a unification fight than Wilder - Fury 2. I'd also prefer Fury vs AJ in a huge domestic match up. It's a new fight and i'd love to see it!

Nobody has hinted it might not happen, not even Wilder. Wilder has even said when he’s going back into camp for the fight
that has nothing to do with what i said

If Tyson is not next no matter who is next if Wilder beats him the fighter will be labeled a loser, no good anyway, washed up, exposed before, tomato can, somebody's left over, trash, etc.

If Ruiz beats Joshua, I expect Haymon to offer Arum a step aside deal so he can try to rush an undisputed fight before it's too late. I have no idea if Arum would accept. Clearly part of the deal would be to vacate the IBF immediately so Pulev can fight for it. The WBO would likely be vacated as well. It would allow though for Wilder vs. Fury to be for the WBC & Super WBA if Wilder beats Ruiz.

Wilder should fight the winner of Joshua/Ruiz then, if he wins it, he should fight Adam Kownacki.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fury comes up with an "injury" like he did to get out of the Klitschko rematch.

Assuming Wilder is actually starting camp on Dec 31st, his team needs to put a couple potential opponents on the undercard to upgrade to the main event. I would suspect Joe Joyce or Kownacki. Though I suspect they would rather save Kownacki for a Barclays fight with Wilder as they would sell it out.
There's an interesting wrinkle if Wilder fights Joyce. As much as I hate discussing these sham belts, Joyce is WBA Gold champ. So Wilder could possibly leverage WBA Gold into a mandatory position for the Ruiz-Joshua winner.

Outside of PBC, most potential opponents are fighting Dec 7th, including much of the WBC top 15: Whyte assuming he wins Saturday, the Povetkin vs Hunter winner.

Fury is clearly the A side. Yeah his fight bombed in America but so did Wilders and unlike Wilder that is only Furys secondary market where as nobody cares about Wilder.

Also if Andy Ruiz beats AJ again he is a BIG A side over Wilder the bronze PPV Bomber. Ruiz will of been in 2 HUGE events back to back, helping to sell a million or more PPV in the UK amongst many other countries world wide. Plus hed have more belts than Deontay. Basically im just using the EXACT SAME RULES that PBC fans use for making Spence an A side over Crawford.

                  I'm predicting it now. Wilder-Kownacki as a WBC-IBF unification at Barclays in summer/fall 2020.

If Ruiz beats Joshua, the IBF will strip him . There's no way Ruiz will defend against Pulev (if Joshua wins, he might possibly fight Pulev, but I doubt it). So, the belt will become vacant and the IBF will order Pulev-Kownacki (#1 and #3 in IBF rankings, with #2 vacant). Kownacki wins and PBC can schedule an in-house unification at Barclays with a massive gate driven by Kownacki's Polish fans.

If Ruiz wins, he fights Wilder no matter what. Ruiz isn't good enough to hold on to the belts. PBC needs Wilder unified so they can stop bleeding money on him. Wilder will coma Ruiz, short, fat, doesn't move his head, and comes in a straight line
