That is very true. A 10 count is not measured in perfect seconds, it's an analog not digital count - and even if someone counts "one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand, etc., to try to match actual seconds closely, the speed at which they count those seconds will vary. To get it exact, they would have to be holding a watch and counting out loud to make it more of an exact count, among other variables. But as a fantasy, it begs the question of if we had a 12 or 15 count, how many fights would have ended with a different victor.
Off the tangent - I still wish we had 15 rounds.....now that would net quite a few different victors since some fighters start pouring it on late and run out of time. Just the fact that today's fighters have never seen 15 rounds gives an edge to the fighters of the past. I wonder what fighters like Spence, Mayweather, Canelo, etc,. would be like entering a 15th round. Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Benitez, Aaron Pryor and others proved their stamina past the 12th round. I'm sure some of today's fighters would fall short in those last 3 rounds.
