Can somebody show me a fight at the Barclays other than PBC since they signed that output deal? Arum is complaining about having to pay MSG a million to rent it out but can't cover the cost with gates.

I don't think people know Haymon get a lot of these venues for free or get paid to put fights on there. Haymon has been dealing with these folks since the 80's in the music biz and he's made them billions of dollars. It's levels to this.

In regards to Canelo, I doubt he gives a f**k if he’s on PPV or not, he’s still getting paid, LMAO. And I don’t give a s**t what he’s earning, I’m just glad his fights are cheaper to watch.

Now from a business perspective PPV is a whole lot safer than DAZN’s model. We’ll see if they survive. Hopefully for the fans sakes they do.

Just makes no sense to buy Wilder vs. Ortiz II for $80 when you can buy Canelo vs. Kovalev and Ruiz vs. Joshua II plus whatever other fights they have during those 2 months for $40.

PBC should just do their PPVs on dates not close to DAZNs big fights because the customers aren’t ******.
It makes sense if you don't want to pay for a service that you don't use more than twice a year.

I agree with you fully that Canelo fights are much cheaper. That said, the other fights you get the majority are not worth the monthly fee. Additionally, what other programming is on? I can't prove this but I am pretty sure the Canelo boxing crowd doesn't cross over into cricket or darts.

I get your point, but again even with all the illegal streams, PBC sold $125,000,000 in PPVs in 2019. Clearly there is a market for the PPV model.

You got Arum looking around the world for money. Hearn abandoning America. More companies are investing in PBC.

Are you people clueless? Or has the hate for Haymon blinded you?

Hearn is abandoning America and Arum isn’t either.

          What is wrong with you?

Does every PBC PPV ever combined even surpass 1 million PPVs? Lmao.

              You’re dismissed, stinky hoodrat.
None of those fights are recent. Nice try doe. Pull up his attendance and numbers since he’s joined DAZN. Couldn’t even sell 11k tickets in a venue that holds 17k in his last fight.

You’re dismissed, ****** midget illegal immigrant.

If you want to be on PPV and you're not with PBC you gotta find another way to get distributed into over 60 million homes.

I like how they touch on some points I've been saying from Day 1 when it comes to DAZN. Ease of access & that PPV's are an event. Just like the Superbowl. People enjoy getting together watching big fights!!!

                Showtime ain't dead

But keep listening to Rick Glaser if you want to. People with skin in the game see that PPV is alive and well

PPV is dead as you saw unless it's a mega fight with mega stars like Pacquiao or Mayweather.

The Wilder vs. Ortiz PPV numbers should tell you this.

Speaking for myself, yes. If companies WANT to do ppv, then ppv must not be dead, right? People keep talking about companies supposedly blowing money. Either they don't mind or that's not true. Al Haymon appears to be keeping boxing alive more than any other promoter. But I'm clueless, so what do I know...

This is sad... A bunch of grown men swinging off other men's nutts like George of the jungle...
There's Al Haymon groupies who dislike Eddie Hearn and vice versa.
                      Fuccing pathetic!
Me, im pro everyone cause I'm a boxing fan and i want every promoter to succeed. The more boxing on TV, the better for me!
