Comments Thread For: Liam Williams on Andrade: At Times It's Like Watching Paint Dry!

Exactly! It's kind of like when a fighter has a high work rate, their volume drops when they keep getting nailed with perfect counters. Andrade does that to all his opponents. He neutralizes them with perfectly timed counters. When the opponents rhythm becomes disrupted, they either accept that they cannot solve the Andrade puzzle or they try something else which makes matters worse for them. He has a serious boxing IQ.If you watch closely, Andrade opponents attempt to attack, fail and hope to survive. They can't walk in and can't out box him. In the end, if they engage they get hurt. They just want to walk out and pray for the Bird effect because it's their best hope.
Every fight is the same.Comment

Let me make it clear Williams look the best I have seen in his last fight and hope he gets the fight, my point is Andrade keeps talking rubbish and look who he is fighting next. The only similarity between Winky and Andrade is that champs all ducked them in their prime. The cash cows told the world why they didn't need to fight. As for boring as paint drying...that's exactly what they said about Floyd.
Because you know boxing you probably also know that Williams has only lost to a 168lb champion. When he faces Andrade he will attack, get hit hard, stop any attack, try to counter and survive just like everyone else.
Its like Calling out Canelo and then go and fight Khan
