Comments Thread For: Liam Williams on Andrade: At Times It's Like Watching Paint Dry!

PREPARATIONS HAVE BEGUN in earnest for Liam Williams' December 21st eliminator against 6'5" Alantez Fox as pictures emerged of him sparring with Light Heavyweight Shakan Pitters. Explaining the decision to seek out the 6'6" Brummie, Williams said: "He's two weights above me, a good two stone heavier than me and he's taller than my opponent."

All I can say is it's levels to boxing

This guy who has fought a list of nobodies with a padded knock out ratio will find out real soon that he couldn't beat Andrade if he were sleep. Who the hell is this sparring partner; we don't no him either!

“boring” Demetrius Andrade = Hell no, he's a problem. All I hear is someone begging for a ducking pass. "Boring", "who has he fought", "other-side" are all an attempts to duck...nothing more.

Andrade is a poor man version of Winky Wright he is like watching paint dry, not watched one of his fight since he was a light middeweight he is begging for a payday and does not to excite fans, he needs come forwards sluggers like Wiliams who is crude and raw, even then I bet you Andrade cannot even stop him

If you watch closely Andrade opponents attempt to attack, fail and hope to survive. They can't walk in and can't out box him. In the end, if they engage they get hurt. They just want to walk out and pray for the Bird effect because it's their best hope.

The only similarity between Winky and Andrade is that champs all ducked them in their prime. The cash cows told the world why they didn't need to fight. As for boring as paint drying...that's exactly what they said about Floyd.

Because you know boxing you probably also know that Williams has only lost to a 168lb champion. When he faces Andrade he will attack, get hit hard, stop any attack, try to counter and survive just like everyone else.

                  Every fight is the same.

You mean a 154lb champion? I like Williams. Looks good at 160 and was unlucky both times vs Smith
