Comments Thread For: Ruiz Not Concerned With Talk of Joshua Battering Sparring Partners

Andy Ruiz. greeted the royal family, media and fans at a huge grand arrival ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of his rematch this Saturday with Anthony Joshua. In June, Ruiz (33-1, 22 KOs) spoiled the U.S. debut of then-undefeated heavyweight kingpin Joshua (22-1, 21 KOs), leaving New York as the unified IBF, WBA, IBO and WBO world heavyweight champion.

But that's the thing, he did get punched in the face, really really hard and it pout him down. And then he got up and fought even better.

Ruiz stopped thinking too much and attacked on pure instinct, worked perfectly. Can he do it again, preferably before getting hurt first? - Good fight, good card.

AJ already proven to be a manufactured hype job paper champ. Doesn't get anymore convincing than the last beating he recieved.

Never seen a champ quit before like that.
