How to exterminate Haymon out of boxing

So Haymon is giving Arum a taste of his own Medicine and your mad about it??? Here’s a question how come when arum had Pac and Bradley he wasn’t trying to match them against PBC guys and kept them in-house the whole time. Now that he has no one he’s crying foul. Just remember it Was PBC who had ESPN first and Arum ran them off the settle a lawsuit.
I order you to name me one single big money superfight Arum has blocked. Just one.Comment

TR and Arum have been a cancer to the sport. Haymon is no where near that cancer. King was bad but at least he used to give you a stacked card but the fighters suffered financially under him.Comment

Who is responsible for these billions of dollars currently being pumped into boxing? Top Rank wouldn't have their TV deal if not for Haymon doing time buys on ESPN. Those are facts straight from Skippers mouth when he worked at ESPN. And now Skipper is at DAZN spending money on boxing. Haymon showed them there is an audience for boxing outside premium networks. These promoters should be thanking Haymon.I've seen this off a few people, but I'm never quite sure what they mean. I just thought Al was another promoter trying to make money, but you get dudes talking like he's on some kinda mission or something. Can't help wondering if there's something I'm missing. Is this a US thing or something? I know my man MCC seems to think PBC is the way to stop the decline in the US boxing and somehow revitalise the sport by focussing on home grown talent... is that what you're talking about?Comment

So it's more like you figure he lead the way in demonstrating the viability of a different model? That Als basically a pioneer? That seems fair enough, I ain't gonna pretend I'm knowledgable about the US market but it does seem the Premium + PPV model wasn't really growing the sport in the US and had kinda run it's course. Whether the new wave of competition and the advent of streaming services turns things around I guess only time will tell.Who is responsible for these billions of dollars currently being pumped into boxing? He invested $500 mil to show there is a viable boxing audience in the US outside premium networks. And they tried to sue him. Arum settled to drop network exclusivity once he got Discovery and then went to the networks with a water downed version of PBC plan. Where would they be if they were still on HBO when it went stopped showing boxing? So it's more like you figure he lead the way in demonstrating the viability of a different model? In trouble I should imagine, although HBO had been reducing boxing funding for years by all accounts so I'd be surprised if Bob didn't have some kinda contingency plan already in place. He might be a slippery mfer but I don't think he's usually accused of ******ity and the writing was very obviously on the wall for HBO, even before Al came by and nailed the coffin shut.

Lol I guess you believe what Bob says. The same guy that told us he wouldn't make the Crawford vs Brook fight because he didn't want to pay Brook because he said Crawford didn't bring in enough money.Comment
