If Andy Ruiz wins, and Wilder fights him instead of Fury, is that a duck?

It was not a duck at all . Fury got a contract that will pay him more and a promoter with money that will be able to represent him in negotiations. Unlike wilder that did not accept a million dollar contract with DAZN .

        Unification> ALL

Fury walked away from the immediate rematch originally to go get a bit more security financially from ESPN/Top Rank and that is fine but what Fury cannot do is comeback and act as if he is in control or entitled to something because he is not. Wilder have every right to choose Unification over Fighting Fury...in fact who the F#CK wouldn't choose to fight for all the Belts over a guy with NO Belts it is Common Sense and Logic that this forum typically lacks so it is no surprise

Yes Unification is very likely if Andy wins because it takes Precedence> Mandatory's and everything else so to avoid IBF or WBO Stripping him or ordering Mandatory's people don't want to see like Pulev. They will likely agree to Unification immediately which puts everything else on hold until AFTER they fight. Who's to say Fury wouldn't get a shot at the Winner anyway. Fury can wait one more fight and go fight Brock Lesnar in the WWE or something

AJ wins on Saturday then he likely takes care of his Mandatory's with Pulev and Usyk

I’ll will like to see Ruiz vs Wilder first before the Fury rematch. It’s not like Wilder is going to fight A.J he going to say the B.S excuse that his with P.B.C. Guess what Ruiz is with P.B.C that stop him from fighting A.J?

Can’t call a heavyweight unification fight a duck. Pay Fury step aside money if they indeed do have a signed agreement and they can fight Fury for all the marbles next year.
Don’t think it matters as I see AJ fighting smart and cautious and getting a decision against Ruiz.

Wilder fake KO Ruiz in 2020 is the plan if Ruiz wins. 100%. This would give Haymon total control of the heavyweight division. This is why there is no venue for Feb 22. If Ruiz manages to win, Haymon will set up Ruiz vs Wilder in a minute. And be sure Wilder will be rigged to win by KO. No DOUBT.

Then Haymon would use that to duck Joshua forever. Even if Joshua becomes mandatory.
