I would pick Wilder to knock out either Ruiz or Joshua, but I would consider Ruiz to have a marginally better chance than Joshua.

I don't think Joshua could absorb or avoid many Wilder big rights. I think Wilder is a horrible match up for Joshua. Joshua doesn't move his head enough, he doesn't have great stamina, and he doesn't have a great chin.

Ruiz has a slight chance of getting inside and unloading a quick combo with that hand speed, though.

      I totally disagree with that

          • Wilder will duck Fury to take the easier Ruiz fight
          • Hearn will go into meltdown and push drug-cheat Dillian Whyte to the moon
          • Tyson Fury may well be frozen out by all the scared opposition
So wait a minute? You actually think that Wilder is ducking Fury or would duck him when the rematch is already signed for in Feb? C'mon man.

Good assessment except I think the size difference would make AJ a bigger threat to Wilder. Nobody can take Wilders power and I think that Ruiz would have to get lucky to close the distance. But that's just me.

I just think AJ is too stiff for Wilder. I don't see AJ getting off any combinations.

To me, Fury and Ortiz are the two biggest match up problems for Wilder. We've already seen as much in their fights, but I just don't think anybody else out there stands much of a chance right now. Usyk would be a big threat too if he had more power, but I just don't see him being able to keep Wilder off him for 12 whole rounds. Usyk looked like he got rocked in there once against Bellew; if that's the case, one shot from Wilder will be more than enough.

AJ has always came off as fake to me. I forget which post fight it was but they asked him if he wanted to fight Wilder and he replied with "one hunnit" in an effort to sound tough and street. He always tried to come off as a proper English gentleman and then he changes his tone and becomes tough. Then when he calls out Wilder he did this Schwarzenegger "WYLLLLLDER LETS GO BABY" thing and he looks over at Hearn like he was looking for approval for drooling on himself. He just seems like a child who hasn't found himself so he fakes personas to make people happy.

Also he's a brit and british boxing fans make it REALLY hard for me to root for them.

Fury is ready for the rematch in February. If it doesn't happen, it won't be down to Fury. Do not be surprised to see Ruiz-Wilder in April or May, if Ruiz wins in Saudi.
