This is it exactly. Jab, jab, straight righthand. Clinch if necessary. In the later rounds, mix in the left hook and right uppercut. He just needs to get off first! Truthfully; He lost the first fight more than Ruiz won it, if you ask me. He got dragged into a firefight, and that is NOT his best way to win the fight. He must neutralize Andy's offense by controlling the distance.

I figured he'd have enough experience in the first fight to do that, but he got greedy, abandoned the gameplan, and paid the price.

And God only knows what his chin is like only five months later.

How Andy is an underdog here is beyond me. I'd favor Andy about 60/40 right now. I think he wins, but he'll have to work a lot harder this time.

Joshua could win but he'd have to do things I've never seen him do before in order to do it. On top of that, that's exactly the type of fight Andy is expecting and has been training for (Joshua moving and fighting from a distance).

You, along with the many, I agree with. It's pretty tough to call, but in the end I'll probably go with Ruiz. That could possibly change if I see something at the weigh-in.

I do believe AJ will have a much improved approach to this fight and will be a bit angry/hungry.
I'm guessing that Ruiz hasn't allowed the fame and fortune to weaken him in any way, though. If that's indeed the case, I think Ruiz, with his pedigree, toughness, and experience, will prevail in the end.

Yep. Andy's gonna make him fight at some point. Who knows how his chin will hold up. And his punching power may not be as good either, as he's slimmed down. I don't like the looks of things for AJ.

One of the judges had Joshua up at the time of stoppage in the first fight, and two judges had him trailing by a single point. All he has to do is survive and he will win.

If AJ is smart he uses his reach advantage to box to a easy W. Avoid the exchanges up close where Ruiz can land the money shot again

I've never seen Canelo get knocked down or beat up in a fight. He's been outboxed by Mayweather, but he's never been hurt like Joshua was in that fight, he was defeated, I had Ruiz up 3 points.

There's no way anyone who's impartial could have Joshua up in the first fight. That's another level of favorable judging.
