Arum PPV numbers are close to what I heard originally.

PPV isn't the only revenue generator
But keep wishing on PBC downfall. Never gonna happenComment

LMAO.
Look at these clowns grasping at straws.
Some random idiot on twitter claimed it's 200-250k according to Arum, lol.
If it did that type of number, PBC would've put it out there.
Keep fooling yourselves... it did less than 80k.Comment

That 18.75 is cut in half due to Fox and the cable providers getting their share.
We'll see what happens as they made this investment to get returns on the Wilder-Fury rematch, but that will be a joint PPV with ESPN so it will be interesting to see how that turns out.
The first fight did 325,000 PPV buys and I do not see a significant increase for the second oneComment

Yeah, if you were trying to say, why believe anything from anyone with an agenda, who is clearly always pushing their agenda, and in this case would have a conflict of interest in reporting great numbers, I agree 100%...just common sense.Comment

True, any numbers that Arum, a rival promoter says is obviously a lowball.Comment

You could view it that way...personally I think that all these networks are fudging the numbers, and are doing it more or less the same way...not exactly sure how but that is my instinct.
So IF Arum or a rival guy comes out and says it did a certain amount, I still wouldn't necessarily believe that...they all lie for a living, and I think they all have a vested interest in saying PPVs are doing well at all, so they can all keep putting them on since that is where they make their money.
What do you expect Arum to say? "Yeah it flopped, PPVs are dead, only sold 120k". I think they are all more or less in cahoots to prop the numbers up to make them look better than they are.
I just don't see where all the buys would come from...if someone has some data to show me all of that, I reserve the right to change my mind...but someone just coming out and saying 'here's the number' won't do it for PPVs right now, for any fighter, predominantly when the number is out of whack with my expectations.Comment
