When you are one of the top guys or the top guys then everyone trains for you. They are prepared for you. Doesn’t matter if you call on them on short notice, they know what your style is and how to navigate that. Especially when you have trained to fight someone else like Lewis did when he took Vitali on.Comment

The best performance I've ever seen from Valdez was when he destroyed Gradovich. Since then, I just haven't been impressed.
Not sure what happens between him and Berchelt. I think he is a better boxer, but can he handle the pressure from Berchelt?Comment

I wasent impressed with his style or athleticism in this fight. I think he does have sum “garbage” in him. He tried to hurk and jerk his upper body around but he still had his feet planted firmly in front of his opponent. I think Lopez showed he has skill too. But I took a hard look at Valdez, and he had short choppy steps, that kept him right in front of his opponent. He moved without actually really moving out of the way and that’s why he got hit often. He didn’t look that fast or like he was setting anything up. Yes he won. He’s aggressive and hits hard but I didn’t see anything that he did that reminded me of an elite fighter. He looks like he could be in fun fights, but I don’t think anyone watches him and would imitate him in awe.Comment
