Thats because the round ended and Adames recovered and stayed away from Teixeira which is why he survived. I'd rather look like Teixeira and hold a title than look like Adamas and not. Adames is also lucky he wasnt the one dealing with 2 cuts instead.

Never saw this fight. Surprised by result though as I thought Adames was a decent, though far from great fighter, and assumed teixeira was rubbish, giving that the one fight I saw him have was when Curtis Stevens steamrolled him.

That previous loss was to J-Rock Williams. Calling Gallimore a "bum" when two of his losses are to Williams and Lubin and he has wins over Rosario and DeLoach isn't really accurate. That tells me you're lazy in you're assessments, don't respect the sport or don't know what you're talking about.

Teixeira lost to Stevens. Stevens is also limited but is a vicious puncher and not a bum. Teixeira showed tremendous heart tonight against Adames, I thought he'd get worn down and stopped but he persevered through a lot of damage and I had him winning on my card.

Yes, I saw a guy get dropped who couldn't even get up because he was so tired. He's lucky Byrd didn't stop the fight. He wasn't effective at all in the second half of the fight because he had no gas in the tank.
