i like bud
as others have mentioned...resigning with arum was the mistake...i understand being loyal to a guy that signed you, built you and got you paid...but its to a fault
but at the end of the day most guys dont really care about "legacy" no matter what they say...and bud is getting paid so i doubt hes losing alot of sleep

Based on each individual's moves and room to progress however?
Spence has more potential to progress and is fighting and attempting to fight the more legitimate opponents which would build a lasting legacy for himself. Compared to Crawford.
Crawford fought Postol, that's great. He's now at 147 and is fighting part time grocery store baggers.
Spence in all fairness has fought Porter and Brook. So yeah, they are equal.
However, while Crawford is fighting uber drivers and door-dash deliverymen, Spence at least is trying to fight Pacquiao and is willing to take Danny Garcia on. That's a title fight vs an ATG and the 5th ranked Welterweight.
That's a lot better than what Crawford is doing. No matter how we want to look at it from an objective scope.
and I add, I want to see Crawford vs Spence. But reality is reality.

Also Pac will pick and choose who he fights...if he chooses Spence, it will probably be because he views him as an easier opponent.
Like how are you hyping up Spence trying to fight Manny...everyone wants to fight Manny....and at Manny's age it is not really a certainty that a guy would get a ton of credit, rightfully so imo, for beating him anyway.
We will see what happens in the next few fights for Spence and Crawford...I think Arum and Crawford will find a way to get him some good fights in the near future.
Spence has some personal issues he needs to sort out...who knows what his next 3 fights will even be like...you know he is taking at least 1 very soft fight in his comeback.

I am no fan of Ward at all...I think he was very protected and with my own 2 eyes I watched a lot of his fights and did not see him getting many clear rounds vs b/c level opposition and above.
But anytime I give my 2 cents on Ward, I always mention that he is tough smart fighter...why? Because I am not a little girl...I am a grown man, and I respect other grown men...especially those who fight like these guys do.
When you name-call and post like a jealous 6th grade girl...why should anyone take your analysis seriously? You can't be bothered to keep it real AT ALL on fighters you don't like...you're just a fan man...so be a fan, but keep the analysis to people a lot more objective than you.

Okay. I guess it is safe to assume you didn't look at the context of the conversation I was having in the quoted comments but it is based all on Spence being 100%, as if he was never in an accident at all.
As for Manny-Spence. The reality is, Spence wants to– or wanted to– unify the division. Manny has a belt, thus he has a target on his head.
Being perceived as less dangerous than Crawford. Spence is going to go after Manny first. Manny won't reject it because Manny doesn't duck fighters, specially with potential big dividends attached. (Cowboys arena, which Manny is very familiar with)
It makes sense for Spence to fight him also because it means leverage. He would have every belt except Crawford's. All the while taking out Brook, Porter, Pacquiao and possibly Danny Garcia in the process. That beats out anything Crawford has done at WW thus far.
Crawford is about to fight some unknown fisherman from Lithuania ranked 14th by Boxrec.
Now Spence's next fight was supposed to be Manny. His mandatory is Danny Garcia. So, if he comes back and doesn't fight Manny, he has to fight Danny or lose his belt.
So even with a delay, Spence's outlook is much greater than Crawford's.
Because based on trend, Crawford could fight Ugas, Danny G, Mikey G, Thurman, Porter, Brook. Even Broner. But will probably fight Bes***** (wba regular champ somehow) or some other unknown.

I like Manny probably better than both of those guys, but I like all 3 tbh with you...and imo Manny was never fighting Spence unless Spence looked very vulnerable...which Porter helped with, and now the crash makes it an easier fight for Manny to take.
To be fair to Manny he doesn't need to fight these guys if he doesn't want to...he has done enough and doesn't need to get in there with bigger prime WWs...he has nothing else to prove.
But let's give it a few fights and see what TC and Spence have done in their next few...even if Spence has decently better opponents in the next few, I would still say that would be him and Crawford about even overall as far as career resume goes.

History is repeating itself right in front of our eyes. Golovkin ignored competitive fights, took step aside money, chased Canelo, and lost...twice. Now he has no legacy.
To top it all off, he's old, and knows there's a big chance he gets exposed if he fights the cream of the crop of the division, or worse, moves up in weight. So he's back to ignoring competition, praying for a third Canelo fight to cash out before retiring. All with no legacy to speak of. He'll go down as a good champion with no defining victory.
Crawford is getting bad advice, and needs to pursue a fight with the best welterweight that will fight him, Shawn Porter. We all know Shawn does whatever his daddy says, and Kenny is adamant about wanting the Crawford fight. Bob Arum comes along, and for some reason, is completely against making a fight with the one fighter who won't duck anyone.
So, it's Spence or bust. Spence and Crawford won't fight for at least a year. Crawford will be at least 33 years old when they do fight. He's putting himself in a position where he has to win. If he loses to Spence, he'll have no career defining win. Even worse, he'll be at the end of his prime and have to try carving out a memorable career with diminishing skills. Also, his body makes him a career welterweight now.
To Spence's advantage, he can still move up in weight. If he were to lose to Crawford, he could still carve out a great career, by moving through 154 and 160 winning titles.
What Crawford should do is follow Pacquiao's footsteps. Pacquiao made himself an ATG before fighting Floyd. And while chasing Floyd, he beat the same opponents. Sometimes in better fashion. Pacquiao could've retired after the Floyd loss and would've still been a bonafide ATG.
Golovkin won the first fight, corruption ****ed him..and that's because Canelo is the draw.
Canelo failed a drug test and still only got 6 months. When HE chose to fight GGG, GGG jumped. He didnt have a choice. just like Kovalev.
Crawford and Spence are closely matched in terms of money..neither one is getting screwed by the system.
al haymon is bent, but arum is every bit as bent.

Beat Nunes for the interim WBA belt, got elevated to regular champion (when Sturm was still the WBA's actual champion), made 10 defenses if that secondary belt, before fighting for the actual full WBA title with his fight against Geale.
No one is belittling the accomplishment, but be honest about it.
Daniel Jacobs made 5 defenses of the same title that you're claiming folks should champion Golovkin for, yet Jacobs gets no love right? Why?
