Porter/Spence vs Wilder/Ortiz PPV #s

I mean for Spence/Porter you have MULTIPLE people report around the same range, so not sure what else you would want. I even posted from the ranges different reporters including Hearn said it did and it was around the same ballpark.

If Wilder/Ortiz did less than Spence/Porter, then it is clear that Spence is the biggest American star at the moment. He would have done back to back PPVs better than Wilder and he even did a 2.3M gate in LA.

Again, a WW that no one has really heard of, doing better numbers than a HW (who no one has really heard of) but is a HW, and is a KO artist...just makes 0 sense man...historically it has been HWs that sell...the other guys who sell are outliers who were BIG stars at the time.

I just don't see where Porter-Spence would do 300k...just can't see it at all.

But if that did 300k then Wilder-Ortiz surely had to...where are all these Spence/Porter fans who aren't also Wilder fans?

And going in most thought Spence-Porter would be a mismatch anyway...at least Ortiz could outbox Wilder...and if he didn't, well you were getting a KO to watch.

Btw...I swear the weirdest thing about this site is the insistence for a lot on here to defend not just fighters, but also their PPV numbers, promoters, etc.

Like it's bizarre...I like GGG but if someone talked sh.it about his PPV numbers, well he just isn't really a PPV guy on his own, almost no one else is in the game today, there is no shame in that.

Why can't Spence just be a bigger name than Wilder? He has the backing of the Cowboys which surely helps him. Now, I have NO idea what Wilder/Ortiz did, and it may have done more than Spence/Porter. We will get a ballpark estimate/report soon enough. But if you aren't going to buy what everyone was reporting for Spence/Porter, then why does it matter that no one has reported what Wilder/Ortiz does since you won't believe it anyways?

Thanksgiving week is a pretty weak excuse.
If they felt it did good numbers they would have put out estimates on Monday or Tuesday well before people are off for the holiday.
As we didn’t hear anything it’s safe to assume it underperformed and they are counting on it getting lost in the holiday shuffle and Ruiz/AJ 2.

There has been NO report on what the fight has done. What you are hearing about 2,500 buys or 80k buys is coming from just trolls.

I have heard nothing....Because the ones that do report the numbers haven't said anything....Well, hadn't said anything before today. I haven't searched around today, so maybe there will be some reports of what it did, but I know up until yesterday, there was nothing.

Well it they say Wilder-Ortiz was 125k or so I would believe it...that's where I would think it falls...my 'projections' are just based on the buzz I see from people around me. No one knows who any of these guys are man. Everyone knows Mayweather and Pac and a lot of them know Canelo...I don't see where they are able to generate the buys for these types of fights.

Who are all these people who were buying Spence-Porter?
