He was the ref from the David Haye/Chisora fight and Povetkin/Wladimir fight.

Wlad should have been DQed for all that illegal pushing down and resting on top of him.

I had already called this: Ref and 2 judges will never allow a fair fight and as with Parker in his AJ fight, won't let Ruiz get close.

And AJ can not lose if no KO.

People did criticized him for the stoppage of Kid Chocolate vs Jacobs though.

Yes that was fixed with 2 judges.
But they neglected with the ref.
Now we see they didn't make the same mistake picking this ref.

Uhh.. Pabon is not a bad referee. The best example people bring up is wlad clinching, where every knowledgeable sports writer realized wlad clincher because povetkin ran at him all night long. Pabon is well regarded, I have no clue who the troll you're quoting is.

Also, what fix are you talking about? Aj has no inside game and is not a dirty fighter. The worst ref can do is give aj a slow count or ruiz a fast count, something that will have to happen in front of everyone, and it happens anyway with good refs.


Refs matter when they let dirty fighting go unpunished, otherwise they're all of similar quality. Stop seeing conspiracy everywhere because you hate aj and Hearn.
