You overlooked one very important factor in the comparison. Whyte was KOed by AJ. Wilder has never lost and never been knocked down so I think that gives him the edge over Whyte.

Wilder because he fought to a draw with Fury and beat Luis Ortiz twice. Both those fighters are better than anyone Whyte has fought, including Joshua.

        Whyte vs world champions:

1-1-0 (KO loss vs Joshua, robbery win vs Parker)

        Wilder vs world champions:

3-0-1 (2X wins vs Stiverne, 1X win vs Liahkovich, draw vs Fury)

        Whyte in world title fights:
        0-0-0

        Wilder in world title fights:
        10-0-1

Wilder actually has been knocked down. He claimed it was from an illegal rabbit punch, but either way, Wilder hit the deck against Harold Sconiers.

The fact that a title holder with 10 defences has a resume in discussion with a challenger shows how garbage Wilder's resume is. Title holders are expected to have a higher standard of competition, not Wilder, he's a protected cherry picker.

Beat Chisora twice in much easier fashion than Whyte, and that was a Chisora that was undefeated the first time, and the second time he’d only been beaten by guys like Vitali and Haye. Whyte went life and death a faded Chisora that’d had about 8 losses, 2 of them to Fury. I actually think Chisora beat Whyte the first time.

              Fury also really beat Wilder.

Don’t talk nonsense. Fury’s resume isn’t great in terms of depth, but he’s beaten the best guys at the time such as Wlad and Wilder, and made easy work of guys like Chisora.
I just think the depth of quantity Whyte has outshines the few patches of quality of Fury's.

Whyte has the 3rd best resume amongst heavies. He has a better resume than the two bum beaters - Wilder and Fury.

AJ and Povetkin are 1 and 2 respectively.

It's close. I'd like to see this fight. But wilder keeps ducking.

                      What depth?

Parker? So Parker is better than Wlad or Wilder? No..

Who else? Rivas? Is he better than Wlad or Wilder? No

Chisora? Fury already beat a fresher version twice, and easier.

Who else has Whyte fought except getting flattened by AJ? Lucas Brown who got stopped by Dave Allen. Who else?
