Freddie Roach knows Ruiz Jr. verry well as he trained him before and he said Pretty mutch the same. He is better fighting fat! And the last pictures i saw of him don't make me worry as he still looks pretty fat, fat enough to beat Josh again! He needs the weight to get more power in his punches and absorb punches better, if he loses to mutch fat and put on muscle he might run out of gas even quicker. Ruiz Jr. is a Special type of guy and Boxing is no body-building.

He finally paid for it, like MANY people in the media have said, and now he is correcting that. Hopefully it pays off and he has more stamina, although it won't help with that glass that he is packing on his chin.
The thing is there’s never really been much footage or even discussion/description of fighters weight training methods across history. We know they do it sure. My friend was a pro boxer and he was buff, but I’d only see him at the weight gym rarely. I’ve never really seen videos of boxers lifting weights. I haven’t read or heard any boxer describe their weight routine. I’ve never even heard a weight associated to any boxers lift ever. I know people can get addicted to weights and being big for sure. Still I havent seen AJ lift anything or anyone explain his routine. Mike Tyson was buff, but weights have never come up. We only seem to see fighters doing weighted neck exercises for the last 50yrs. I’m just surprised there’s so little recorded info on it. I really would like to know more.

Ruiz hasn`t lost much weight, he still looks pretty much chubby.

Then it will be even worse now. He might get knocked out with the stiff jab for real

I have no idea if he weighs less than he did for the first fight, but he does appear to have improved his body composition.
